How Guard Owl stacks up.

TrackTik, Belfry, Silvertrac, Connecteam, GuardMetrics, OfficerReports - good tools that track your operation. Guard Owl is the only one with an AI workforce that runs it: Owly dispatches, supervises, checks compliance, writes reports and closes the books.

Tool by tool

Where each one stops.

TrackTik

The enterprise incumbent - deep workforce management for very large operations, with pricing, rollout timelines and support tiers to match.

The Guard Owl difference: the same operational depth, live in days instead of months - with AI doing the dispatching and paperwork, and support included for everyone.

Belfry

A modern all-in-one back office - scheduling through payroll and tax filing, priced per user. The closest thing to a peer on this list.

The Guard Owl difference: Belfry organizes the work; Owly does it. No AI workforce means your team still covers the call-offs, chases the renewals and writes the reports.

Silvertrac

A respected guard-tour and incident-reporting tool - strong accountability and checkpoint proof, but light on scheduling and no billing or payroll.

The Guard Owl difference: tours and reports are two of fifteen modules. Verified hours flow straight through timesheets into invoices - one system, end to end.

Connecteam

A capable generic employee app - scheduling, time clock and chat for any deskless team. Not built for security: no tours-first design, no client reporting, no guard compliance.

The Guard Owl difference: purpose-built for guards - NFC tours, GPS-stamped incident reports, client portals and post orders out of the box, with AI on top.

GuardMetrics

Affordable officer-reporting software - tours, DARs and branded client reports with quick onboarding. Scheduling and payroll stay thin.

The Guard Owl difference: reports write themselves from field notes and GPS trails - and feed scheduling, payroll and invoicing instead of stopping at a PDF.

OfficerReports

Straightforward officer-reporting software - DARs, incident reports and tour tracking, delivered to clients. Scheduling is basic; billing and payroll are not the focus.

The Guard Owl difference: reports are the output, not the whole system. Guard Owl runs scheduling, timesheets and billing around them - and Owly writes the reports itself.

Why teams switch

The short version.

The only AI workforce

Owly covers shifts, watches tours, chases renewals, writes reports and reconciles the books - the others alert you so you can do it yourself.

One system, end to end

Fifteen modules on one schedule of record - no re-typing between a tour app, a scheduling tool and an accounting bolt-on.

Live in days

Free implementation and data migration - most teams run their first AI-covered shift the same week.

Transparent pricing

No enterprise negotiations, no long-term contracts, no per-feature add-ons.

24/7 support for everyone

Your operation runs nights and weekends. So does our support - on every plan.

Open by design

Open API plus payroll, accounting and alarm-portal connections - custom integrations included, not scoped as extras.

Questions

Before you book.

The things operators ask us first. Anything else, ask a founder directly - demos are live, never slideware.

Book a demo

30 minutes. Bring your schedule and one messy week.

How long does it take to get running?

Most operations are live in under two weeks. We import your sites, guards and contracts, run one week in parallel with whatever you use today, then cut over.

Do our guards need training?

The Guard App is built for a phone in the dark with gloves on - clock in, scan, report. Guards are productive on their first shift; supervisors get a 30-minute walkthrough of the Hub.

Will it work with our payroll and accounting?

Yes. Verified hours export to any payroll provider, and invoices sync with QuickBooks, Xero or CSV. Custom, entity-specific integrations are part of the deal, not an add-on.

What happens to our historical data?

We migrate your sites, post orders, guard records and certifications. Reports and timesheets from your old system can be archived alongside so nothing is lost.

How is our data secured?

Encrypted in transit and at rest, role-based permissions, and a full audit trail on every action - including every action an AI agent takes.

What does it cost?

Pricing scales with guards deployed, not per-module tolls. Bring your headcount and site count to the demo and you will leave with a real number.
